On God and household • “I used to be very lucky to develop up about 4 hours away from right here in Tallahassee, Florida. It was throughout the days of the KKK. Jim Crow and segregation was very prevalent. My [Black] group, similar to the German group, the Italian group, the Jewish group — we had a sure factor in widespread. We beloved our nation and believed in meritocracy.”

“We believed the best way to command respect from one another was by means of onerous work and out-studying and outworking anybody else round us. We believed in schooling, religion, the free market and household. The whole lot was about that. And we led our nation within the Sixties within the development of the center class.”

“That has been turned the other way up. A variety of it’s, we’ve taken away manhood. Now we have taken away the concept of what males are speculated to do — which is to sacrifice the whole lot [for family]. That is an evil that has been coming at us for a very long time. The left desires to show that round and devalue womanhood, devalue manhood and destroy our youngsters.”

On the financial system and unemployment • “The the reason why we recognize the household and the nice issues we’ve is as a result of we’ve gone by means of robust occasions. Once we come out of these robust occasions, not solely are we studying, we notice we will get by means of it, and we’ve extra hope the following time one thing comes round.”

“It doesn’t matter what social gathering you might be a part of. When you don’t have a job, you’re not glad. In case your children usually are not going to highschool, you’re not glad. When you’re sitting there ready for a vaccine and they’re giving it to folks on the border, you’re not glad.”

On political division in Washington • “Over the following couple of years, let’s have these good conversations with our associates. Let’s decrease the temperatures. Let’s hear slightly bit extra. And on the finish of the day….[Democrats] are going to do it to themselves. They will’t go far sufficient — quick sufficient — to the left. We’re going to be OK guys. In the long run, the nice guys will win.”

On Limbaugh • “Within the early ’90s, once I was a rep for WordPerfect, I might set my appointments up each single day so I may spend time within the automotive listening to Rush Limbaugh. [Owens fumbled through several iterations of James Golden’s alias — “Bo Snerdley” — Limbaugh’s call screener, who let him through].

“That dialog led me to say, ‘At some point I’m going to write down a ebook — which I did 20-plus years later. Which allowed me to develop a variety of associates on Fox Information. Which allowed me, once I determined to make this run, to have assist throughout this nation.”

“I’m grateful for an important man, Rush Limbaugh. Not his wealth. He lived the American dream by giving folks hope. That’s one thing everybody of us can do.”

On the 2024 election • “We can’t do what Democrats do. Democrats use, abuse and discard. They present up each 4 years after which transfer on and don’t assume a factor about it. We have to begin investing into our communities, we have to go into these communities the place it’s plus 30D [30% Democratic] and….. get the message out.”

“Let’s be sure that we flip ourselves to the place these voices are. Let’s put our voices, our faces, our message on the market. And let’s begin ensuring they [Democrats] can’t be so cocky and assume they’ll simply present up.”

On Black Lives Matter (Owens is African American) • “While you hate God, whenever you hate capitalism, whenever you hate the household unit — which is what Black Lives is — you don’t care about Black lives. You don’t care about American lives. You care about an ideology of godlessness. We have to perceive what we’re up towards. Let’s be sure that we all know the place the reality comes from and the ability.”
